In 1975, Ipsos started from Paris, the third large Survey-based research company. It's a public company in July, 1999 in Paris. Now, it has 40 branch offices across the globe including Europe, South America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Middle East. ABRS is one of a family of international media surveys, with sister surveys EBRS, CEBRS, JBRS, USBRS, AUSBRS and Middle East BES. All use a common methodology and conducted once every two years. Execution Area including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, South Korea and Thailand. It has been 21 years for Ipsos conducting this considerable and history-making media research project since 1985.

China Times holds two digit difference and above with other daily newspaper such as United Daily and Liberty Times for six years in ABRS 2001, ABRS2004 and ABRS2006.
